Upholstery Pet Odor Removal
Make your furniture smell beautiful. Again.
Removing pet issues from upholstery can be a tricky proposition. While there are some decent household products that can remove surface pet stains reasonably well, they only remove the part of the stain that you can see. The problem is that a greater portion of the soiling is below the surface. Without a strong flushing/extraction afterwards, surface cleaning can push odors even further in to the cushions. Cleaning the surface alone, will not solve your odor problems. Call Carpet Max for a deep-down clean!
When urine is first deposited onto a floor or fabric, it is in an almost “neutral” state which means it is easier to remove when it is fresh. Once it dries, it turns “alkaline” and becomes more difficult to remove. If left weeks, or longer, it may permanently change the dye structure, therefore causing permanent staining. Even if the soluble deposits are removed, the damage to the dye structure may already be done.
**This means that no one can guarantee complete removal of all urine spots. Please consult with your technician if you have questionable urine spots on your carpet.
